Booking & Payment

How do I book Glenardle Lodge?

All bookings are made directly through our website. This ensures you receive the best available rates, up-to-date availability and clear information about the house before confirming your stay. You can make an instant booking on the website or contact us directly with an enquiry via the contact form or sending us an email to glenardlelodge@gmail.com.

What is the minimum stay?

The minimum stay is three nights for most of the year.

During July, August and the Christmas / New Year period, bookings are for a minimum of seven nights.

How does payment work?

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your dates.
The remaining balance is due four weeks before your arrival.

While the deposit is non-refundable, we aim to be as reasonable as possible. If we are able to rebook the dates, we will refund any payments received in full, less any administrative costs.

 

The House

How many guests can Glenardle Lodge accommodate?

Glenardle Lodge is licensed to accommodate up to 10 guests.
This applies to all bookings and includes adults and children.

Is the house suitable for families and groups?

Yes. The house is particularly well suited to:

  • Intergenerational family holidays

  • Walking groups

  • Groups of friends looking for a relaxed, peaceful stay

The layout offers generous shared spaces alongside comfortable private bedrooms.

Is Glenardle Lodge suitable for parties or events?

Glenardle Lodge is well suited to family and friends gatherings, milestone celebrations and relaxed group get-togethers.

The house is not suitable for loud or disruptive parties, as it is located in a peaceful village setting and is intended for considerate group stays.

 

Practical Information

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in and check-out details will be confirmed as part of your booking information - usually 4pm check-in and 10am checkout. If you have specific requirements, please get in touch in advance and we’ll do our best to help.

Is there parking at the property?

Yes. There is ample private parking available within the drive for several cars.

​

Is Wi-Fi available?

Yes. The house has Wi-Fi access throughout.

 

Pets

Are dogs allowed?

Yes. One to two well-behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement, subject to an additional fee.

Please let us know at the time of booking if you plan to bring a dog.
